The trek starts from the mountain village of Imlil, passing through traditional Berber settlements and the Ait Mizane valley before reaching the mountain refuge for an overnight stay. Day two begins with an early climb to catch sunrise from the summit, rewarding you with panoramic views stretching from the Marrakech plains to the Sahara horizon.

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal Refuge
Early departure from Marrakech towards Imlil (1,740m), gateway to the High Atlas. The trail follows the Ait Mizane valley through Aroumd village and the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch (2,350m) for a lunch break, then a gradual zigzag ascent to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) for the overnight stay.
Day 2: Summit - Imlil - Marrakech
Pre-dawn departure for the summit push (4,167m) to catch sunrise with panoramic views over the Marrakech plains, the Sahara and the Middle Atlas. After summit time and photos, descend to the refuge for lunch, then continue down to Imlil for the transfer back to Marrakech.
